Until seeds and seedlings outgrow the blackberries and deer, we intervene to support them. Due to the sharp increase in the proportion of crops on open land, it is urgently necessary to regulate the accompanying vegetation.
Measures that we could do without in near-natural silviculture are becoming topical again. Weevils, deer, and stunted herbs need to be brought under control.
The meticulous, sometimes digital preparation of the work ensures a target-oriented and cost-adjusted result that does justice to the natural conditions on site. The available water balance of the area plays a particularly important role here - all interventions are coordinated in such a way that a sustainable and future-proof solution is possible, which preserves the natural balance of nature and at the same time focuses on a vigorous, economical forest.
Of course, we also bear a great deal of responsibility for our foresters, who not only face immensely high professional demands, but also extreme physical exertion. In our training centers (Silva Futura), we prepare the foresters optimally for their work on site and impart the knowledge that is useful for the sustainable care of the forest.
